'Banana Painting'

Banana, acrylic paint, gold leaf, shellac

3.5” x 6” x 2.5”

Natalie’s work is about observation and looking in-between opposing perspectives. She feels that there is much to learn from animals. Sloths move at a pace that isn’t exactly valued by our culture, but she feels that slowness is a quality to cherish. While hanging out, they are the masters of being one with their environment, plus, they urinate only once a week, and act as homes to moths, beetles, fungi, and algae.
